I decided to make my blog private. For a multitude of reasons, so I just wanted to post a heads up. I still love visitors and comments for sure. So please just follow the blogger prompts once this blog goes private and I'll add you to the viewing audience.
UmmmmKay?
Finally getting awesome weather here! In the 70s. YIPPIE! Gotta spend tomorrow afternoon up to my shins in an overgrown lawn. I just mowed last week!
Motivation has been wavering a little bit. Not sure what the hell my problem is. Lots going on I guess too.
Rescued a Crested Gecko from a pet store last friday. It was one of those moments where I just knew I had to get it out of the store, or it would die there and I would never forgive myself. I've been hand feeding this little creature. Take a look.

I love warm weather!
75 degrees today. Can't beat that!
Now if we can just stop having aftershocks from Friday's earthquake.
An earthquake in Indiana you say? Ummmm...Yeah, that was a new for me too. Although a ginormous fault line is in the Midwest, I don't know if I've ever experienced an earthquake. The initial quake on Friday was a 5.4. I was getting ready for a garage sale and my garage door windows started rattling like mad. I also felt like I had just stumbled out of a bar...It was wild.
Eating has been great this week. Feeling really great and enjoyed my outdoor run for cardio tonight.

Checkin In!
Haven't posted this week. Lots going on!
Getting junk together for a garage sale on Friday. Wow that's a lot of work!
Mowed the lawn for the first time this season today. Put out the patio furniture, scooped dog poo poo and cleaned up yard debris. Burned 650 calories! YIPPIE!
Here is my latest project. These two fine looking ladies in the slide show may be getting a boyfriend soon. Babies Babies Babies!!

Dope Dog
Not what you think.
Brought Tanner home from the Vet today. He had his Neuter and Stomach Tack surgery yesterday and all went ok. Small mishap with his diaphragm...but the surgeon assured me it would heal just fine.
Right now, I have to make sure Tanner rests for 10 full days.
Did I say TEN days????
Yes, Tranquilizers are on board already! He has no idea that he's supposed to be still and sleeping while he heals. Picked him up from the Vet and he tries to jump into the car before I could help him!
Haven't checked out the 8 inch incision on his belly yet. I'm scared.
Tried to take some photos this afternoon...
Tanner is not happy with me. He won't even look at me!![]()
He must be really mad at me for taking away his STUD-liness. ![]()
You can tell the drugs are really working now. Poor Baby!![]()

My day in pictures and video
Having a crappy day. Tanner is at the vet and is not well. His diaphragm was nicked during his surgery. A long recovery ahead. And I can't take him home until tomorrow. I tried begging, and so far that has not worked.
This brought a smile to my face.
My free day from this past weekend made me feel like this. ![]()
Was going to go for a run tonight. How fast can I go?![]()

R Rated Post (I F'in Warned You...)
So I'm over on tracker today and a very nice tracker posts a support thread about Chantix and it's helpfulness in quitting smoking. He said it worked for him. I chimed in that it's working for me too. The day goes on and the support thread is growing. Lots of past smokers are sharing tips and present smokers are getting some valuable support. Finally, a thread that is HELPFUL to smokers, not BASHING anyone for poor decisions.
I'm on day 11 of Chantix and I woke up this morning and decided I was not going to smoke. It's now 11:15pm and still no nasty smokes.
Then a total JACK ASS HOLIO chimes in that smoking is dumb...blah, blah, blah.
No shit Sherlock.
Do you think anyone started smoking because they thought it was a GOOD idea? Do you think any of the millions of smokers today actually ENJOY it? I even restated how addictive smoking is. Comparable to heroin addiction, per Dr. Oz on the smoking special Oprah did last month.
Once again, asshole chimes in and mouths off. Can't even remember what he wrote. It was just stupid and NOT supportive. Mind you, the thread creater started the thread in the first place because people like me were getting thrashed on other threads about smoking (but that's another post...)
Ok. Everyone has opinions, that's why I love this country. But get your ass off a support thread if you have nothing helpful or supportive to contribute.
So I got honked off and the following PMs ensued.
Supa: You are very Rude
Asshole: It'll be fine dear... Go have a smoke.
Supa: Piss Off. And still smoke free!
Can I just tell you how FUMING FUCKING MAD I was when I read his reply? I wanted to travel through cyberspace and wring his chicken ass weenie little neck. What a Negative Nancy he is! Oh, that shows support now doesn't it? Teasing me to go smoke?
What a FUCKING ASSHOLE.
Ok, I don't want to source any more negativity about this. Perhaps I am overreacting. I'm just shocked at how fucking brash and nasty people can be to total strangers over cyberspace. I have never done anything to this meanie!
And I'm there on tracker getting support for quitting smoking, and offering it to others as well and this Holier-Than-Everyone nimrod starts shit on a SUPPORT thread.
If he PMs or gets on my back again, I'll kick his ass.
Ok, so since he doesn't post 'real' photos on his profile, the only image I can think of is the GloboGym Guy at the END of the movie Dodgeball.....LMFAO...
Ok, that was bad! (Smacks Hand and grins!)

Product Advertising
On Tracker today a good discussion ensued on product plugs on NBCs The Biggest Loser. Many of us don't believe that hard core trainers like Bob and Jillian stuff their traps with Popcorn, Gum, Jello, and Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal. One response really cracked me up. Reposted with permission from SMCGOLDR...
It is almost as bad as watching the NASCAR winner give his victory speach.
"The number 18 Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal Chevy performed really well in the Sugar Free Jello 500 today. After my crew chief used the extra sugarless gum laptop to determine the best air pressure to use in our smart pop popcorn goodyear tires we could not be caught. That really gave the Quacker Weight Control Oatmeal Chevy an advantage in the Sugar Free Jello 500. I also want to thank my team mate in the number 27 One a Day Vitamin Chevy for blocking the Light and Fit Yogurt Dodge from being able to get a run and pass me coming out of the Jeannie-O turn number 4 on the final lap of the Sugar Free Jello 500."

Easter Sunday--Quality Entertainment
Between Kevin's two younger sisters, they have 7 kids (1 from a previous marriage). All of these kids are very well behaved and sweet as pie. Between the parents and the grandparents; it was organized, hilarious, chaos.
Here's what happened when I let the children borrow my camera.
Hmmm...Must be checking the lense.
Apparently trying to get a close up of my jeans in this one.
There we are...wait-a munchkin jumped in front of the camera!
The boys are fascinated with the camera.
This one was the best of them all. My neice Keely is on my lap. I ADORE HER. She is 4 going on 21! In the middle is Braden, a tiny tot that is destined to be the next McGyver! And on the right is Bella, Keely's little sister-another heartbreaker in the making.
Happy Easter!

Nikki and Tanner go right to work looking for Peyton all over the Dome...
Nikki checks the sidelines first.![]()
Tanner searches the upper level next.![]()
Nikki checks some more. Are you up in the stands Peyton?![]()
Tanner checks the Locker Room. 'Peyton??????'![]()
Well, I guess we'll just hang out here until we find him!![]()

Checking In from Sick Bay
I'm still alive, but very ill. Sore throat, green cough. Uggg...
I have been home from work for 2 days now which has helped. Sleeping seems to be my saving grace. As soon as I wake up, the cough kicks back in and it just sucks the energy right out of me.
But, I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I have to get back to work tomorrow, regardless of how I'm feeling.
Wondering if the sore throat came about after the trail run. Kevin slept on the couch because he said I was snoring SO LOUD this past weekend after the run. I don't usually snore, er....not that I know of. But, my sore throat started first. The green cough has been going around at work, along with the Flu.
Hey, at least I'm not pukin my brains out. Thank Goodness!
It was over 50 degrees today and I didn't get to enjoy ONE bit of it. That's ok. I needed to rest!
